VikasaVidyaSamiti was started, with a team of notable personalities of Shivamogga, in the year 1983 with a mission to start, promote and assist various forms of Educational activities to the general public.

Now Vikasa Vidya Samiti runs Nursery , Primary, High School and Pre University College in its own campus at 'Alkola' Shivamogga. The Alkola Campus having spacious area with lush green cover has separate buildings for Primary / High School and Pre University College
Vikasa Pre- University College was started in the year 2001. Pre University College is providing P U Education in Science and Commerce Streams. Along with all necessary academic facilities, PU College also provides best teaching for IIT / JEE / NEET and CA Foundation.
Hostel Facility is available separately for Boys and Girls with best amanities for healty stay.
